Set in a 1930’s small village, a mysterious doll maker, Dr. Coppelius makes a doll, which he names Coppelia. He dreams that one day she will come to life. A young couple, Franz and Swanhilda are engaged to be married when Franz is smitten by the lovely Coppelia. He desperately tries to win her affections, but she remains completely unresponsive to his charms. Little do the squabbling lovers know that Coppelia is only a doll. Madcap ensues as each tries to find out more about the mysterious Coppelia.

Great period costumes, engaging choreography and plenty of humor accessible to children and adults, make this popular comedy ballet pure family entertainment.
